Child and Adolescent Services

Dr. Troiani has extensive experience working with children and adolescents ages eight and up.

Dr. Troiani specializes in assessment and educational planning for children and adolescents. He uses testing to aid in the development of individually-tailored treatment recommendations and interventions designed to facilitate academic success.

Through the Chester County Intermediate Unit and Tredyffrin-Easttown School District, Dr. Troiani worked with students from early intervention through college-age and addressed difficulties related to learning, behavior, and emotional functioning. He provided behavioral consultation to special education teachers and autism support staff. In addition, he facilitated transition planning through identification of community resources (including college accommodations).

Getting to Know Your Child and Understanding Your Concerns

Dr. Troiani recognizes the importance of understanding a child’s family environment, educational experience and social interactions when beginning the evaluation process. Taking the time to meet with parents to discuss their concerns, reviewing educational materials, (IEP’s, teacher/counselor notes, and testing scores), and creating a rapport with each child helps to provide a firm foundation on which to begin his testing efforts. Parents are involved from the start.
