Adult Neuropsychological Testing

People can live their whole lives feeling like something gets in their way and prevents them from being the best version of themselves. They may have lived for decades, not knowing they have ADHD, dyslexia, or other neurological conditions that contribute to an inability to focus on their work. They may have had problems in school and, now that they are adults, it has gotten harder to work around those obstacles. They need answers or they face the risk of jeopardizing their career or their personal relationships. This is where a neuropsychological evaluation can help.

Understanding the Concerns of Families Seeking Help for their Elderly Loved Ones

Dr. Troiani understands the important roll the family plays in helping their loved ones obtain the assistance they need. He encourages family members to attend the intake appointment so they can share both the experiences and struggles they face in providing the best care they can for their loved one. He takes the time to listen to their concerns, compiles a complete medical history, reviews any recent scans or lab work, and works to create a trusting relationship with each patient. Family members are involved from the start, at the patient’s approval, and their contributions are considered a vital part in the assessment process.
